Author Biography
R. K. Narayan (1906–2001) was a famous Indian English-language writer. He was born in Madras (now Chennai), India. He is best known for creating the fictional town of Malgudi, featured in many of his stories and novels. His famous works include Malgudi Days, Swami and Friends, The Guide, and The Bachelor of Arts.
